About Coach

I have always had an athletic side in sports and competitive drive as a runner. I am someone who can push my limits in a workout just from the self-motivation to become a stronger, fitter version of myself. When I found CrossFit in 2014, it simply had my heart - endurance,  strength, & community all in one. About 18 months into my CrossFit journey, I got my L1 Certificate and started assistant coaching classes.

The next year I got my L2 certificate, began coaching full-time, and programming for a gym at the time and clients. In 2018, I got my L3 Trainer Certification - it was truly all in God's timing that He had laid on my heart the strong pursuit to make coaching my career.

In 2021 I launched my own online programming platform, Strive & Soar Training, and grew as a business owner and leader of my coaching team - pivotal skills I have been able to use in my coaching career.

My passion has always been to help people live healthier lives, and God knew the exact way to pull my athletic passions into a career. Over the last decade, I have coached THOUSANDS of athletes - what a privilege to be entrusted to inspire and lead so many individuals on their health journeys.

Turning Point

I have never really struggled with my weight or not being confident in my skin until 6-9 months postpartum with my third kid. I thought I was "just supposed to be thicker" as a mom of three. I was strong and fit, but my clothes were all tight & uncomfortable.

I finally decided that if I wanted to be comfortable in my skin and clothes, then I was going to need to buckle down on my nutrition and be honest with myself about the excess food I was eating (like I was still pregnant). Turns out my body was sitting in a high inflammatory, stressed out state - holding onto all the excess calories I ate.

As soon as I eliminated triggering foods, increased my protein, and got a reign on my calories - my body started responding! In 16 weeks I lost 23 pounds while getting stronger and faster. I honestly never thought I could look or feel this good after 3 kids.

I am so glad I held myself accountable to making nutrition changes that just matched the effort level I was giving to my workouts and training. Put the time in for yourself - it is worth it!

Motivation & Passion

My purpose and passion is to help others lives healthier lives. Young, old, athletic, or new to fitness - I want all my athletes to gain more self-confidence in their own strength and abilities. One niche population that has my heart are pregnant and postpartum mommas.

I worked out during all three of my pregnancies and put in hard effort each time to rebuild my core postpartum, so I love encouraging other mommas with that knowledge & experience I have gained.

Mommas - the demands are never-ending in all phases of motherhood, so let's make you the mentally and physically strongest version of yourself.
