About Coach

My CrossFit journey began the day I took a class under a coach that inspired me to “be more” and by doing so I could “do more”. His outlook on how to care for people through fitness was admirable and thus instantly drove me to want to be that kind of example for my peers.

I strive to bring the best out of people, encourage full capacity and belief in one’s self inside the gym and out. I know from experience how the right people pushing you can open so many doors.

Born and raised in Hawaii, I grew up competing in Rodeo’s almost every weekend since I was 6 and dancing hula, performing at various shows around the island.

I’ve been a Competitor since I can remember so naturally, you’ll likely find me training on a mat for my next BJJ competition or pushing my limits at the gym trying to beat a previous benchmark time.

Turning Point

There was a point in my life when I realized that the biggest opponent I’d ever face wasn’t across from me on the mats or next to me in a workout — it was the voice in my own head.

For a long time, I let that voice run the show. It told me I wasn’t strong enough, fast enough, or disciplined enough. Every setback — every missed lift, every tough loss on the mats — felt like proof that maybe I just didn’t have it. I started showing up physically, but not mentally. I was training hard but not believing in myself.

Then one day, I hit a wall — physically, emotionally, and mentally. I remember sitting after a brutal training session, feeling completely drained, and asking myself a hard question: “Who do you actually want to be?” That moment changed everything.

I decided I was done letting doubt call the shots. I started training with purpose — not just to win, but to grow. CrossFit taught me how to be relentless, to find strength in failure. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu taught me patience, humility, and how to stay calm under pressure. Together, they showed me what I’m truly capable of when I refuse to quit on myself.

Now, as a coach, that’s what I want to give others — the belief that they can rewrite their story too. Because we all have that enemy — doubt, fear, hesitation — but once you face it head-on, everything changes. You realize the hardest battles aren’t against someone else they’re against the limits you thought you had.

Motivation & Passion

As I mentioned above, my biggest motivation behind how and why I coach is to show athletes what they are truly capable of, my purpose is YOU! Nothing makes me happier than watching you win your battles and what a privilege it is to be present for your wins!!
